· Ok,
what am I doing wrong? How do I use this?
To start converting files, you need to refresh your CD, check
the format you want to convert, choose the files in the play list,
and finally rip CD.
To set output-format by yourself, press "Settings"
on the main menu.
For example, if you want to convert the first 3 files on your
CD, check them, rip CD, and then the conversion will begin.
If you want to set the parameters and output-format such as the
output-directory and the file-name-rule by yourself, you should
do as below:
1· Check the files you want to convert
2· Press "Settings" on the main menu
3· Active "CDDB page" to set the CDDB information,
active "CD Settings page" to set your CD information,
active "output-format page" to set the information of
output-files such as the output directory, active "MP3 settings
page" to set the parameters of MP3 files if you want to convert
your CD to MP3 files or active "WMA settings page" to
set the parameters of WMA files if you want to convert your CD
to WMA files or active "OGG settings page" to set the
parameters of OGG files if you want to convert your CD to OGG
files.
4· rip CD
· How
can I select the output-directory?
Your converted files will be stored in the folder which has been
selected in output-directory window or the folder last time you
stored your files if you haven't set the output directory this
time.
If it’s the first time you use EASE CD Ripper Plus, the
output-directory is "C:\Mp3con".
To set the output-directory by yourself, press "Settings"
on the main menu, active "output-format page", then
click "Select directory" button, the output-directory
window will appear.
For example, if you want to store your files in "D:\Music
", you would first double click "My Computer",
followed by double clicking "(D:)", followed by double
clicking the "My Music" folder. Click "Ok"
button in the output-directory-window and then click "Ok"
in the setting-windows, the directory will be stored. Your files
will be store in "D:\Music ".
· How
can I name my converted files?
To change the name of files, check the file and right click on
it, a menu will pop up and you simply need to click "Edit
track name". Then write the name you want your file have.
To change the rule of naming files, press "Settings"
on the main menu, active "output format page", and then
select the name-rule you want to set from the "Naming rule
for output files". There are 7 rules to name your files:
· <Title>:
· <Title>-<Artist>
· <Title>-<Artist>-<Album>
· <Artist>\<title>
· <Artist>\<number>-<title>
· <Artist>\<Album>\<title>
· <Artist>\<Album>\<number>-<title>
Title is the title of the CD file.
Artist is the name of the artist who created the original subject
of the CD. If there are many artists, the names are separated
by a semicolon and a blank.
Album is the CD's album name,
Number is the track-number of the CD file.
· I have
purchased a registration code and its not accepting it!!!
Please make sure you are typing in the registration code. It
is pretty common to accidentally type in the product # or order
#. Scan down your order email to the line that says "Your
registration code is: " and the number right after that is
your registration code! Also, don’t forget to enter your
name. More help on registration.
· I have
not received my registration code! Isn’t it about time!
Do not panic! In many cases, there may be a processing delay.
Sometimes, people have supplied the wrong email address. In rare
cases, the registered users are unreachable due to mis-configured
email clients or privacy control. See this for more help.
· Where
are my files?
You converted files are stored in output directory.
· Some
converted files are very quiet. How do I make them the same volume?
Press "Settings" on the main menu, active "output
format page", then check "Normalize to". This will
make sure that all files have a consistent volume.
· I
can't create WMA files.
Please download wmfdist.exe.
