Ok, what am I doing wrong? How do I use this?
1. To encode WAVE files to compressed format, click “Encode”
button.
For example, press “Settings” on the main menu, followed
by pressing “Encode Format”, followed by choosing
the format you want to compress your WAVE files into, followed
by setting the parameters you want your compressed files to have,
followed by selecting the output directory you want to store your
files, then click “Ok” button. After doing these,
the parameters you want to get have been stored. Click “Encode”
button, select the file you want to convert, click “Ok”
button and then the conversion will begin.
2. To decode your compressed files to WAVE files with different
parameters, click “Decode” button.
For example, press “Settings” on the main menu, followed
by pressing “WAV settings”, followed by setting the
parameters you want your WAVE files to have, followed by selecting
the output directory you want to store your files, then click
“Ok” button. After doing these, the parameters you
want to get have been stored. Click “Decode” button,
select the file you want to convert, click “Ok” button
and then the conversion will begin.
If you feel it’s too complex, you may just click “Format
From Like Sample” and select one audio file. Then the files
will be converted into the files in the format as the selected
file.
· Does this program burn audio CDs?
No. MP3 WAV Converter simply converts MP3 and WAVE files. Most
CD burning programs will use Wave files in 44khz, stereo, 16 bits,
but will not accept MP3 files.
· Are the original files replaced by the converted
files?
No. The original files that you convert are not deleted. They
are kept intact. The converted audio files are stored in the decode
directory, which defaults to " C:\wav" (for WAVE files)
or " C:\mp3" (for compressed format files).
· Converted WAVE files are sounding bad.
The converted WAVE files are sounding grainy. Go to the WAVE options
and set it to use the "best suited format."
· Some converted files are very quiet. How do
I make them the same volume?
Press “Settings” on the main menu, followed by pressing
“WAV settings”, then check “Normalize to”.
This will make sure that all files have a consistent volume.
· I have purchased a registration code and its
not accepting it!!!
Please make sure you are typing in the registration code. It is
pretty common to accidentally type in the product # or order #.
Scan down your order email to the line that says "Your registration
code is: " and the number right after that is your registration
code! Also, don’t forget to enter your name.
· I have not received my registration code! Isn’t
it about time!
Do not panic! In many cases, there may be a processing delay.
Sometimes, people have supplied the wrong email address. In rare
cases, the registered users are unreachable due to mis-configured
email clients or privacy control.
· How do I convert more than one file at a time?
In the Window's Explorer, select the audio files you want to convert.
You can select the files by left clicking and then dragging over
the file icons (When you are dragging it shows a big square).
Or you can select the files by holding down the Ctrl key and left
clicking on the individual songs you want. Or you can select a
file at first, and then holding down the Shift key and left clicking
on the individual song to check those songs between these two
songs. The information of those files you have selected will appear
in the Play-List, and then the system will convert the file in
order unless you click “Stop” button.
· I can't create WMA files.
Please download wmfdist.exe.
